Allpa Daypack | 18L
The commuter-to-carry-on crossover sorted
Cotopaxiβs Allpa 18L is a traditional panel-loader at heart, it opens flat for easy access and packs a 15β laptop sleeve and separate 13β tablet sleeve into a frame made from recycled 840D ballistic ripstop nylon -- the same bomber fabric youβll find on their full travel pack range. The stretch water bottle pocket takes up to a litre, an internal fleece-lined pocket looks after anything scratchable, and two exterior accessory pockets handle the bits youβre in and out of all day. The back panel features a luggage pass-through so it rides neatly upright on a roller, and the harness and back panel geometry is cut with a women-focused fit. Made by a B Corp-certified company from 100% recycled fabrics throughout.

Cotopaxiβs tagline is βgear for goodβ, and before you roll your eyes at yet another outdoor brand making lofty claims about their eco credentials, these guys really do walk the walk. Theyβre certified climate neutral, with rigorous ethical manufacturing standards and even a grants scheme that supports organisations fighting global poverty.
They also prioritise the use of recycled and reclaimed materials, which includes some imaginative upcycling β like their βDel DΓaβ range made from repurposed fabrics. Other product lines make use of leftover fabrics discarded by other manufacturers. As well as reducing landfill waste, this also means that the vibrant patchwork-style colourways of many Cotopaxi garments and packs are totally unique.
And thatβs the thing about Cotopaxi. Their kit doesnβt just tick the good-guy boxes, it also looks great too β with a retro-inspired aesthetic that channels the best bits of the 80s. Whether itβs a daypack, a bum bag, a windbreaker or a zip-up fleece, their range is built to last and stacked with well-thought-out features for conscientious adventure travellers.

Super comfy to carry around the airport and it fit perfectly under the seat.
